The Autumn Water Square is well positioned in Nanchang's newly developed Red Valley Beach area, just south of Tengwan Pavilion. The square is in fact shaped like a crescent moon around which are various shops, bars, restaurants and cafes. There is also a 500-meter long corridor, with views across the river and Tengwan Pavilion as well as the largest musical fountain in Asia, which shoots water almost 130 meters into the air.
