Over 1000 varieties of sea animals are exhibited at this newly opened refurbishment of the Zuohai Aquarium. Located in Zuohai Park, the exhibition hall has an area of 3,000 sq.m, and a large-scale sea animal exhibition hall .
The museum has many different halls, including a tropical forest hall, a sea fish hall, an ocean theater, a penguin ecological hall, shell hall and a 50 meter long Perspex tunnel under which visitors can walk to see sharks, sea turtles and brightly colored tropical fish up close. Feeding time in the penguin enclosure is a popular draw, as is a dance routine involving humans and sharks.
There is also a shopping centre and various small rides.
