Jianfu Temple is dedicated to Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy, and is the only operating Buddhist nunnery in Tianjin. Built rather recently, Jianfu is equipped with all the facilities of a modern school, including a computer room and multi-media enabled classrooms for Buddhist instruction.
