As the largest garden of its kind in the country, Tianjin's Tropical Botanical Garden boasts a large greenhouse, a service hall, a flowers and plants hall, a desert plants area, a popular science education hall and a tropical plant area. Tianjin Tropical Botanical Garden is the first to have adopted an imported and environmentally friendly heating system that uses natural gas and an electronically operated ventilation system, sunshade and temperature-reduction equipment.
