As the sub council of the China CCPIT/CCOIC, the CCPIT/CCOIC Fujian Sub-Council is a foreign trade promotion institution established by the Fujian Provincial People's Government in 1980. It brings together province-wide, non-governmental organizations for foreign trade composed of representative figures from enterprises and associations in Fujian Province. Its goal is to enhance coordination, communication, services and consultations between Fujian trade and commerce circles and international trade and commercial organizations.
At present, the CCPIT and CCOIC Fujian Sub-Council has established cooperation relationships with thousands of chambers of commerce, associations and counterpart business institutions in 110 nations and regions and has maintained close exchanges with embassies, consulates, representative offices and related expat institutions in China from all over the world. Presently, there are more than 3,000 members.
