Directly led by the Zhengzhou municipal government, Zhengzhou Trade promotion council (ZZTPC) is dedicated to facilitating foreign trading and investment activities. ZZTPC cooperates closely with Zhengzhou International Chamber of Commerce. Its primary goal is to invite collaborative counterparts as well as foreign industries to visit and invest in Zhengzhou. Aside from attracting investment, the organization also explores investment opportunities in other continents in hopes of improving bilateral economic relations between Zhengzhou and the rest of the world.
In recent years, Zhengzhou Trade promotion council has harmonized its activities with the development plan of Henan province and organized export-oriented companies of Zhengzhou to attend a variety of commercial and trade events including the Chinese export commodities fair in Guangzhou, Xiamen Commercial Goods Exchange, Shenzhen Hi-tech Business Exchange, Beijing Technologies Week, as well as overseas commercial goods exchange held in Vietnam, South Africa, Europe, Korea and Japan.
Zhengzhou Trade Promotion Council was jointly established by the Japanese Kunlun Association, Germany Youth Career Association, Association of Commerce Chinois Resident en France, and other foreign trade & commerce committees.
