The annual CIFIT, which is held in Xiamen in Sept. 8-11, is sponsored by China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), co-sponsored by United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development (OECD), International Finance Corporation (IFC), World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and China International Investment Promotion Association (CIIPA). CIFIT draws its members from various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government and some cities with independent plans, as well as relevant state ministries, state-level associations, and chambers of commerce.

The overall goal is to exhibit and educate China's investment environments, investment policies, investment projects and products in all fields of development. CIFIT offers optimum opportunities for entrepreneurs to understand investment policies in China via forums, seminars and exhibits.
