Wuhan Seed Trade Fair has owned a greatest influence and known as the largest trade fair in Asia-Pacific region. The fair integrates scientific research achievements, trading and communication of seed breeder, producer, retailer, and much more. Since the first Fair held in 1984, the annual Wuhan Fair has developed substantially. With the opening of Chinese seed market, Chinese seed industry has developed fast and is entering into global seed market. Foreign Seed Companies are also penetrating into Chinese Seed Market by setting up sub-companies or trading offices in China. Mr. Neol Mamicpic, the former president of the Asia-Pacific Seed Association (ASPA) said, "it is the largest and most successful seed fair in Asia-Pacific region".
