Established in 2005, the Shahai Luzhu Ocean World aims to be a multifunctional ocean world integrating education and research with entertainment.
It consists of 13 sightseeing areas including an animal performance pool, a coral reef area, a tropical forest area and a seabed tunnel with a sightseeing hall where visitors can see rare fish and corals. Over 200 varieties of rare ocean creatures have been gathered here including sea-lions and even a walrus or two!
