The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Xinjiang and Urumqi Sub-Councils (CCPIT) is an organization for the promotion of foreign trade composed of representative figures, enterprises and associations in the Xinjiang and Urumqi regions and districts.
The CCPIT ' s main tasks include actively promoting international trade, investment promotion, foreign economic and technological cooperation and exchange, providing services for trade enterprises and functioning as a bridge and link to government departments for promoting commercial development of local enterprises. The CCPIT also organizes Urumqi-based and Xinjiang-based enterprises to participate in the Guangzhou Fair and Urumqi Fair and holds exhibitions for local enterprises overseas.
