"The China Tianjin National Commodities Fair & Investment Conference" also known as the Tianjin Conference, is held in Tianjin International Exhibition Center, Tianjin Sports Exhibition Center and Tianjin Great Hall. The fair specializes in economic investment and product display in hopes of further attracting domestic and international investment.
China Tianjin National Commodities Fair & Investment Conference is sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce of P.R.C.; and jointly sponsored by Tianjin Municipal People's Government and China General Chamber of Commerce. In 2006, the 5-day event used the motto - "Enlarging the regional cooperation and promoting the collaborative development", in hopes to enhance its thriving joint ventures. According to Tianjin's Municipal Government, the 2006 Tianijn Conference achieved its goal by establishing a wide platform for improving the regional economic cooperation and opening to the national and international industries.
