Changfeng Theater is the oldest theater in Taiyuan, situated on the original location of the Qing Dynasty Baqi Guild Hall. It sits on the west side of Liuxiang South Road with seating for 1,200. Many famous Beijing Opera stars such as such as Mei Lanfang, Ma Lianliang and Shang Xiaoyun have given performances on this stage.
