The brand new Suzhou Youth Hostel opened its doors to backpackers and budget travelers in 2005. It is conveniently located in the heart of the city near many of the best sites and only a few kilometers from the railway station. Offering clean and cheap comfortable accommodations, the hostel is known for its bi-lingual services (English and Chinese). Room facilities include air-conditioning, free Internet access, telephone/fax facilities, game room, 24-hour reception, washing machine and a cozy lounge equipped with a big TV showing DVD's nightly. For those that want to practice their culinary skills, there is a guest kitchen. This is a great place to rent bicycles for a few hours or the day!
