Shijiazhuang Zhengding Airport is located approximately 32 km northeast of the city's center. The airport has over 40 flight routes, including those from Shijiazhuang to Harbin(2hrs), Xi'an(1hr 20mins), Urumqi(4.5hrs), Chongqing(2hrs), Kunming(4hrs), Guangzhou(3hrs), Nanjing(1hr 20mins), Shanghai (1hr 40mins), Sanya(4hrs) and other popular destinations. It also offers flights to Hong Kong and Russia.

The airport is easily reached by shuttle (RMB 20) and taxi (RMB 100). Depending on the type of airline ticket purchased, travelers can commute to the airport for free by specially provided buses. Travelers flying first class and business class are advised to check on this service and its availability. Otherwise, travelers are advised to use regular shuttle buses, which can be boarded at the Civil Aviation Administration of China office opposite the train station.
