Liaoning Provincial Library, LPL, is one of state-owned provincial public libraries in China. The educational institution is also considered as a cultural institution because of its extensive academic and non-academic resources provided to the public without additional charge. The library is reputed for having an extensive collection including 120 thousand source books, which includes near 100 printing books from Song and Yuan dynasty. In addition, it has an extensive collection northeast regional literature, Manchukuo, Qing Dynasty and Puppet Manchu Guo Government literature.
