Two for one here, with a stunning new restaurant (Jing’an) on the second floor and the wonderfully atmospheric Long Bar at ground level. The Puli is the latest boutique hotel in town, and the attention to detail shows. The 32 meter bar doubles as the check-in desk, the wine and whiskey list are similarly long, and the open fireplace will make it the hottest place in town come winter. Upstairs is upscale modern-European food, with a few Asian twists, in a beautifully minimalistic space. It’s not cheap, but it’s more than worth it.
