Located in Pudong Park, at the center of Lujiazui District is one of Shanghai's most recognizable skyscrapers, The Oriental Pearl Radio and TV Tower. It was once the tallest building in the city till the Jinmao Mansion took that accolade away. But it remains one of top ten sights of the city, for its panoramic city views and entertainment facilities.
The viewing floor is some 263 meters above ground, and is open by day and by night. Visitors can reach it by traveling in an elevator that moves at seven meters per second. Entertainment zones include the Shanghai Municipal History Museum, the Oriental Pearl Science Fantasy World, a Three Dimensional Movie Hall and, of course, plenty of cafes, bars and restaurants.
The ''Pearl'' at the very top of the tower has shops, and a rotating restaurant that makes one complete turn every hour, more than 20 KTV rooms, a disco and a piano bar.
