The Shanghai Automobile Exhibition Center (SAEC) is located in the core of Shanghai International Automobile city and is designed by German architects using modern building techniques and materials to construct what is considered to be a first-class international exhibition center.
Co-funded by the Shanghai World Expo Group Co. Ltd. and Shanghai International Autocity, the SAEC provides a communication platform for auto and auto parts manufacturers from home and abroad, integrating exhibition space, display areas, business services, advertising and food services. The SAEC's well-equipped exhibition halls are composed of three parts with a twin exhibition hall in the north and south ends covering 24,200 square meters. Each exhibition hall has a span of 55m, a height of 11m and overall length of 228m. The exhibition center can accommodate 1628 standard booths.
With advanced facilities, the SAEC is ideal for large-scale vehicle and auto parts exhibitions, as well as other kinds of trade shows. Since its establishment in March 2006, the SAES has successfully hosted and organized many large-scale exhibitions such as the Imported Auto Expo Shanghai 2006 and the Shanghai Auto Parts Fair.
