Constructed in 1965, the Qingdao Museum originally served as the headquarters of the Red Swastika Association, a charitable institution that based its philosophy on Daoism and Buddhism. The Museum has a collection of paintings, calligraphy and relics from the Yuan through the Qing dynasties.
