Nanjing International Exhibition Center is located on Longpan Road east of Purple Mountain and facing Xuanwu Lake. Its construction was completed on August 30, 2000 and was inaugurated on September 1. The international exhibition center provides indoor and outdoor display with an overall area of 120,000 square meters with an edifice of 60,000 square meters. This facility hosts a number of expo and trade fairs including the Historical & Cultural Famous Cities Expo, the International Expo of Transnational Retail Group and the Chinese Merchant World Congress.
