This park is located 7 kilometers east of Kunming on the Mingfeng Mountains (Mingfengshan). It is also known as the Golden Temple Park because of its Ming Dynasty Taoist Tongwa (bronze tile) Temple. The park' foliage and landscape form the perfect show case for this beautiful temple. Its staircase is adorned with fragrant camellias (Diechi).
This garden is also the home of the 14-ton Great Bell of the Ming Yongle Era. Located at the top of the mountain behind the temple, the bell is 2.1 meters tall and 6.7 meters in circumference.
