The Hohhot Museum was once the mansion of the Heshuoqiajing Princess - the sixth daughter of the Qing Dynasty Emperor Kangxi. The Museum has several exhibitions demonstrating the history and traditions of Inner Mongolia and its people. It displays the evolution of the area in terms of social and military history, as it progressed from a cluster of warring states, through theMing and Qing Dynasties to the present day.
