Guilin Xiongsen Bear and Tiger Village is located in the Shatang Loop of the Guilin Liangjiang Airport Expressway, 10km southwest of the city. Covering more than 30 hectares (74 acres), the village fulfils both scientific and entertainment functions. The wide variety of animals there includes tigers, black bears, lions, leopards and monkeys, some of which are endangered species. Live feeding of predators, as well as performances by trained bears and monkeys, are part of the entertainment.
