China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC) Guangdong Chamber of Commerce
The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangdong Sub-Council (CCPIT Guangdong Sub-Council) was established on November 23, 1957 in Guangzhou. It was one of the earliest Sub-Councils of the CCPIT at the provincial level approved by the State Council. In June 1988, approved by the State Council, the CCPIT simultaneously used the title of China Chamber of International Commerce (CCOIC), meanwhile the Guangdong CCPIT also became known as the China Chamber of International Commerce Guangdong Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as CCOIC Guangdong Chamber of International Commerce).

The CCPIT Guangdong Sub-Council and CCOIC Guangdong Chamber of International Commerce are provincial-wide non-governmental organizations of foreign economic and trade composed of representative figures, enterprises and associations in Guangdong Province. Its purpose is, under the guidance of governmental policy, to promote Guangdong's foreign economic trade, to promote the utilization of foreign investment, to promote the introduction of foreign advanced technology and various kinds of economic and technical cooperation and to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the people in the industrial and commercial circles of Guangdong Province and other countries all over the world.

The CCPIT Guangdong Sub-Council and CCOIC Guangdong Chamber of International Commerce attach great importance to the establishment of its network system throughout the whole province. Up to now, there are 22 branches and 19 chambers of International commerce at county-level and more than 7000 enterprises belonging to the network. The CCPIT Guangdong Sub-Council and CCOIC Guangdong Chamber of International Commerce have signed friendship and cooperation agreements with chambers of commerce and industry, associations of trade and governmental economic departments from countries all over the world. These long-term cooperative relations form a bridge and link between the economic and trade circles of Guangdong Province and foreign countries and regions.
