The Guangzhou New Gymnasium is a landmark building in Guangdong Province. It is made up of three halls which have different functions including the display area which is nearly 30,000 square meters. It is a multi-purpose comprehensive building for athletic competition, exhibition displays and the theatrical performances. Approximately 20 large and medium-scale international exhibitions are held in the gymnasium every year. More than 20 local bus routes converge on the Center and the train station is only 15 minutes away, the new airport is only 35 minutes and the downtown area only 6 minutes.
