Practically under the bridge at Renmin Nan Lu and Second Ring Road, Paulaner is more of a summertime favourite for the wealthy Chinese in Chengdu than for the foreigners. Still, if you’re wallet is fat enough, there is no better place to enjoy an ice cold microbrew and a plate of Bavarian sausage.

Last time I was there, the food was bad and not authentic, the waiters are not friendly. If you can choose ... go to a different place!
