One of four major Buddhist temples in Northeastern China, it is a key example of Buddhist architecture. Completed in 1921, it is currently home to about 40 practicing monks. Composed of several halls and gardens, Banruo temple has a serene environment, flanked by a drum tower on one side, and a bell tower on the other.
