This is a great Indian restaurant - in fact I sometimes wonder why they're not busier. Maybe it's the location, right in the Russian district by Ritan Park. But whatever the reason, I have always found the staff friendly, courteous and efficient (I've never had a problem with wrong dishes as so often happens in Chinese places), and the food is great. The samosas are fresh and light, the naans are freshly made, the mains flavoursome and zesty - just what you want from Indian food.

Some Indian restaurants in Beijing seem to get most of the attention, but I hope more people can get away from Sanlitun and find restaurants which deserve their custom. Mirch Masala is definitely one of them!

I’ve probably been here 10 times by now but finally reviewing it. I absolutely love Mirch Masala and they always treat me and my family well. Delicious and this place delivers.
The man(daya) who answered the phone remembered me, and I hadnt ordered there for months. He also delivered our food and thanked us for being such good customers. If the food wasnt so good and they didnt seem busy, it would make me suspicious that he was thanking such lax customers, but I think he is just a nice guy. The saag paneer, chana masala, and samosas are my favorites. Definitely call here.

I was introduced to Mirch Masala Beijing, china Indian restaurant by my interpreter friend of mine. We had walked the length and breadth of ritan highlife restaurant complex and found the restaurant looked the most authetic and inviting.

The manager was very welcoming and made us feel instantly comfortable. We took a window seat and ordered a soup starter and main course.

The dal soup starter was most delicious I have ever tasted, even so I enquired to the manager about the recipe. The depth of flavour was outstanding and left a zingy after taste on your pallete.

Main course was a Thali, about 6 dishes surrounding a potion of rice. This was accompanied by roti and a plate of red onion and cucumber. The dishes ranged from chick peas to aloo gobi, curried vegetables, super smooth spinach and yoghurt.

The rice was cooked to perfection.

The food tasted extremely fresh with each dish having it’s own signature notes of flavour.

The manager explained the chef made fresh food everyday.

I really enjoyed my visit to the beijing mirch masala, the food was excellent and the manager friendly and approchable.

This is one restaurant not to miss.I was very impressed and will be certainly be going back soon. www,mirchmasala.com.cn
