While the Beijing branch of Face, a former elementary school, pales in grandeur and opulence in comparison to its big sister in Shanghai (set in a French colonial estate), it still sits high atop the list of the capital's high-end lounges. Expensive but well made drinks and the Southeast Asian décor draws an older thirty-something clientele, many planning to dine at Face's restaurants in the same complex.
For fine dining this Thai restaurant is classy and the food is good, but the price range (starting from 400RMB per person) can be hard to handle especially if you're used to dining in Beijing's less expensive venues.
