This park is the largest children's entertainment area in Xining, boasting a Ferris wheel, beautiful willow trees, an artificial boating lake and a large fountain which is especially popular with children. The central courtyard has a series of beautifully sculpted stone figures depicting the twelve animals of the Chinese calendar, directly behind which lies the fountain.
A small sub-park called ''Miao Qu Yuan''is popular with families too, and the facilities here include a music teahouse, an exhibition room and the ''guessing hall''. Fruit trees, peonies and Chinese roses grow in this quiet, reflective garden.
