The Ice-Traveler Youth Hostel is situated 2 kilometers from the center of Xining near the Ta'er Monastery. Stretching over four stories, it's the largest youth hostel in Xining with around 30 rooms and 110 beds which can accommodate singles, groups or self-catering travelers.
The hostel is well equipped with a restaurant, reading room, common room, gym and a roof garden. It also has outdoor parking which is useful if you are intending to hire a car.
