The Qinghai Investment and Trade Fair for Economic Restructuring is supported by State Asset Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the State Nationalities Affairs Commission, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Western Development Office of the State Council and the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. The Fair has been held successfully for 7 years since the year 2000.
It aims to promote the restructuring of Xining's economy, to further reform and open up Xining's industrial sectors to foreign investment, to enhance cooperation and exchanges with international trade groups, to attract domestic and foreign investment, to deepen the nation's western development strategy and to accelerate the development of the regional economy. It has become one of the most important trade fairs in Western China.
