Xi'an Qujiang Aquarium is known to be not only a tourist site, but also an educational facility. This institution ranks number 4 in China when it comes to aquatic parks. The aquarium is famed because of its 370 aquatic species specimens, but also because of its salt-water exhibitions that total over 6000 cubic meters, 150 cubic meters dedicated to fresh water aquatic life including plants and animals. The park's exhibition consists of a number of exhibits including Science Dissemination Zone, Tropical Rain Forest Zone, Ocean Scenery Zone, Polar Area Adventure Zone, Glacier Wreckage Zone, Submarine Showplace Zone, Underwater tunnel and wonderful animal performances.
