Approved by the State Council of the People's Republic of China, the China Hi-Tech Fair (hereinafter referred to as "CHTF") is jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Information, the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Education, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Shenzhen Municipal People's Government and the Ministry of Agriculture. It is held annually in fall.
Focusing on the theme of "hi-tech achievements and commercialization", the CHTF offers exhibition space and facilities for technological innovation, specialized shows and transactions, investment services, high-level forums, human resource services and information exchange. It provides hi-tech companies around China and the world with a platform and necessary service for product display, commercialization and exchange.
The show is the most important window and the most practical transaction platform for China' s hi-tech sector and one that facilitates economic/technological exchange and cooperation among countries and regions. With years of continued development and improvement, the CHTF is the most influential state-level international technological exhibition brand in China.
The CHTF consists of four primary activities: the commercialization of technological innovation, specialized shows, the China Hi-Tech Forum and year-round business matching services. Hundreds of Chinese enterprises and organizations participate, as do delegations from Hong Kong, Macau as well as other countries including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Japan, Korea, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, Spain, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, the UK and the United States.
