Strange Hill (Guai Po in Chinese) is so called because of its topology (it is far higher at the west end than the east), its unsual dimensions (only 15 meters wide, but spanning a length of 80 meters), and the strange optical illusion which makes objects appear to roll uphill.
The hill is also the home of numerous unusual sites, such as Sounding Hill (Xiang Shan) and Weng Peak (Weng Ding) the Qing Dynasty, rest Qianlong's famous Seven Holes Dragon Stele (Qiyan Toulong Bei In the spring, Strange Hill hosts Shenyang's Flower Festival.
