This large park to the northeast of Shenyang encompasses mountains, streams, luscious green trees, hot springs, Fairy Cave and Mother Stone among its natural sites, in addition to man-made attractions such as Gaojunli Mountain Town, Nantian Gate, General-Naming Platform and Xiangyang Temple. Jipanshan Mountain's Ice and Snow Big World is an extremely popular location in the park in winter.
The park has been used to host a variety of exhibitions and competitions, from the China Shenyang International Horticultural Exposition, to the Shenyang International Chess Competition.
