An awesomely ambitious new venue from your favorite purveyor of classy Burmese-influenced dining, Lost Heaven's near-Bundside location is guaranteed to pull in the crowds. Quite what they'll be going there for hasn't yet been decided – it's part bar, part restaurant, part nightclub, part ethnic-themed home deco store. But if the food at their opening party is anything to go buy, the important things haven't changed: top notch food by way of Burma, Thailand and Yunnan served in incomparably plush surroundings. Their original location (38 Gaoyou Lu, near Fuxing Xi Lu) probably remains the best date venue in town, but if you just want to wow your dining partner, bring them here.
