Originally known as the National Central Museum, The Nanjing Museum was established in 1933 under the guidance of Cai Yuanpei. The museum exhibits portraits of dynastic emperors and empresses, rare national treasures such as Mao Gong Din (a bronze tripod), and a bronze Simuwu Pot.
