Black Dragon Pool is located at the foot of Longquan Hill, about 17 kilometers north of Kunming. It has a Taoist Temple, a web of interconnected springs, and a famous tablet inscribed by a Ming Dynasty Taoist monk. It also has a number of beautiful gardens, with two of the best being Plum Garden and Dragon Fountain Plum Garden. They have ancient trees that date back to the Tang Dynasty.
