As foriegn exchages is under strictly control in China, it is almost imposible to flow in and out of money from two branches of Spain and China. The computer databases between the two countries are literally not talking to each other. So it is highly not advised to expect opening a Citi bank account in China and transfer money between two accounts.

I am soon moving to Guangzhou and i would like to know the conditions in Citibank there. i am spanishman and i am highly considering opening an account with Citibank to make transfers every month from my Citibank in Spain to my Citibank in China, what it would be free according to Citibank Spain. First of all, I would like to know how much it would cost to open an account there in China and specially, how much it would cost to withdraw money from another bank there with the debit card you would issue for me.
