The Guangzhou Fair has been successfully held for the past 14 years, organized by the Guangzhou Municipal Government and concerning economic and trade cooperation. The 2006 Guangzhou Fair covered an area of 80,000 square meters, including over 4,000 booths, with companies from 30 provinces and municipalities in China and 21 nations and regions around the world attending and where 387 economic and technological cooperation contracts were signed with gross trade value reaching 143.24 billion RMB.
