Held since 2003, the Daqing Oilfield Electronic Information Tech Expo is for promotion of the development of the information technology industry and includes IT companies, telecommunication service providers, and enterprises from the Daqing Oilfield scientific community who have or are developing advanced IT products. The expo includes product exhibitions and introduction of new products and new technologies, such as computers and software, intelligent safety monitoring electronics for the oilfield, building materials, electronic components, small and medium-sized household appliances and industrial control systems.
