If the people at Brooklyn Bar and Restaurant were trying to recreate the style of a classic New York City pizza pub, they've succeeded mightily right down to its brick walls and TV screens broadcasting everything from sports to news to movies. The menu is keeps with the New York theme as well, not only offering a wide variety of traditional "pub grub" appetizers such as mozzarella sticks, onion rings and barb chicken wings but there is also set menu of main meals full of quality cooked "comfort foods" including hamburgers, panninis and the bar's signature New York style pizza. As for drinks, the bar offers a good selection of bottled beer including Tsingtao and several local brands. The drink list also includes all your standard liquors such as Jameson, Barcardi and Wild Turkey and cocktails.
