The soothing waters of the Southern Hot Spring Park are said to alleviate ailments from arthritis to migraine. Although the Northern Hot Spring Park is busier than the Southern park, there are numerous hotels and restaurants around the Park catering to visitors. A number of these hotels have opened up in converted shelters, built during the Japanese occupation of the area.
The pretty landscape around the Park is home to gurgling streams, thick forests and numerous caves waiting to be explored after a long soak in the hot waters.
