This imposing building, located in Renmin Lu, is one of the landmarks of Chongqing. The Ming and Qing Dynasty style building was built in 1954, and at first glance resembles the Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The Hall is the venue for drama and opera, large-scale concerts and other performances.
