Beijing Huguang Hall was once a residence of celebrities from the Qing Dynasty. It has a unique layout with a magnificent opera house, lofty pavilions, side courts and halls. The hall is famous not only because of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's visits but also the famous Peking Opera artists who performed here.
The theater is one of the four remaining traditional theaters in Beijing. The attached museum displays Kun and Peking Opera artifacts. Most performances begin promptly at 7:30 pm.
