The Yuanming Xinyuan Underwater World is a large facility, split into several areas including a scientific education area, the underwater channel area, an aquatic animal area, the shark area and children's area. It prides itself on the high-tech displays and scientific research undertaken behind the scenes.
Thousands of fish from tiny guppies to fierce grey nurse sharks can be seen alongside Sea anemones and a wide array of crustaceans.
