The landscaped slopes of Zhongshan Park in Xiamen cover an area of just under 14 hectares, filled with exhibits, statues and Buddhist temples. The Kuixing River runs through Zhongshan Park, along which tropical trees and flowers grow by ferns and grasses. A bronze statue of Dr Sun Yat-Set (the first provisional president of the Republic of China) is a key feature of the park, which is used by local people as an oasis of calm in the busy city.
Note: The Park is near the Lotus Nunnery in the north of Xiamen nearJingshanli Jiedaoshu (The municipal library).
