The China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Shenzhen Sub-Council (hereinafter referred to as CCPIT Shenzhen) was established in 1985. The CCPIT Shenzhen is a non-governmental organization promoting foreign trade and composed of representative figures from enterprises and associations in Shenzhen. Its purpose is, under the guidance of governmental policy; to promote Shenzhen's foreign economic trade; to promote the utilization of foreign investment; to promote the introduction of foreign advanced technology; to promote various kinds of economic and technical cooperation; and to promote mutual understanding and friendship between the people in the industrial and commercial circles of Shenzhen and other countries all over the world.
