Metro City is Shanghai's best known electronic market, equally famous for its wide selection of computers, software, phones, and mp3 players, and for its unusual architecture, which looks like a giant golf ball. Many vendors speak some English, making your purchase a bit easier. Always be sure to always get a receipt in case you need to return an item, and bargaining is mandatory, as the initial price is always inflated. There are a few restaurants, including a delightful vegetarian place called L'Arbe de Provence. Starbucks, Häagen Dazs, Pizza Hut, and a large food court can be found on the basement level.
Take the metro to Xujiahui as seen on the map, the Shanghai Science & Technology Museum Station is far from it. And it's not much of a electronic market in my opinnion, more like a normal Shanghai department store
